Gaia Sophia is a collaborative homeopathic center. We have combined Karen's 20 years in the Classical Homeopathy and Midwifery fields, with Antonio's extended knowledge of biodynamic gardening, Ayurveda and Homeopathy. And now we want to give the student and practitioner the opportunity for access to on-line study and guidance. Our hope is to be able to guide and journey with those who are interested in homeopathy for their family or themselves. As well as lead others though teaching to an actual homeopathic practice that they may share with others.
This web-site was created in response to the growing number of students and clients who have requested an organized way to receive the kind of information they have experienced in our lectures, our local study group, and our workshops.

She has lead homeopathy study groups, taught homeopathic 1st aid and is currently writing 2 books (one on Homeopathic 1st Aid and one miasmatic influences on health and disease).
Antonio Peixinho Ferreira FRC, has taught natural foods preparation with basic Ayurvedic principles in several North and South American countries as well as studying homeopathy for last seven years. Antonio started the study of Rudolph Steiner's biodynamic garden principles in 1973 and has applied those teachings in 14 countries. He is also a millwright.
Together the two are the owner/founders of Gaia Sophia Center for Well Being, the Southern Oregon based home of their practice, which they have been mobilizing to take to the Navajo Reservation and to North and South American countries. They are also co-founders and directors of The Indigenous Peoples Project, serving members of over 60 Native American Nations health care, products, education, and planting organic vegetable gardens. They live rurally, on a small Bio-dynamic farm, with the youngest of their six children, mostly home schooled, home birthed, and raised without vaccinations or antibiotics, nor ever an aspirin. They also have strong ties to Brazil, Antonio's homeland, and indeed will be basing out of Brazil at times.
Our vision of health care regards the whole person, and in support of that person, we encourage empowerment through education. Seeing nature as a model of vibrant self-healing capability, we learn and practice ways of returning to the optimal state of health: freedom from suffering or limitation.
